Choose the 3M? for the care of moderately to heavily exuding wounds? Tegaderm? Hydrocolloid. This advanced hydrocolloid formula creates ideal healing conditions. The polysaccharide particles in the dressing swell, absorb the exudate and form a soft gel. A 3M? Tegaderm? film layer covers the hydrocolloid dressing and forms a fixation edge for the oval dressings and the sacral shape. On the one hand, this provides additional safety against softening of the wound edges and, on the other hand, ensures that the dressing will not curl up and leak. Thanks to the perfect fixation, contamination from outside is avoided. The 3M? Tegaderm? Hydrocolloid can be worn for up to a week.
