Description Rosehips grow in the south of Chile high in the Andes, near the ocean where there are low temperatures. The bright red rose hip fruit ripens from March through to June. Harvesters leave around 30% of the fruit on a bush to allow natural proliferation. Rosehips are harvested by hand. They are then dried in a heat air dryer. 5kgs of fresh Rosehip is equal to 1kg of dried Rosehips. Rosehip grows best in wild and remote areas. Directions 1) Place rosehip in hot water and let tea steep for 10 to 15 minutes, covered. 2) Strain the tea through a fine mesh filter to remove the seeds and any pulp present. 3) Sweeten with honey if desired. Uses For those who need a little supplement boost, try rosehip! This herb is rich in Vitamin C in the form of ascorbic acid.
