Description
Barley is harvested with the hull intact. Hulled barley is the whole grain with only the inedible spikelet removed. Barley flakes are milled from cleaned, hulled barley groats. Barley has a good texture and mild grain flavour.
Directions
Add 1/4 cup of cereal to 1 cup boiling water. Cook gently for 10 minutes. Add fruit, milk, or sweetening as desired.
Storage
Product should be stored in a cool, dry area at a temperature not exceeding 20˚C, for a shelf life of 9 months.
