Dosage

Echinacea 2+ Kids: Children (2-4 years): 0.7 mL (20 drops); Children & adolescents (5 - 9 years): 1.3 mL (40 drops); Adolescents (10 - 14 years): 2 mL (60 drops); Adults & adolescents (15 & over): 3.3 mL (100 drops). All doses should be taken 3 times daily in a little water on an empty stomach. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 8 weeks.

Chest Rub: Adults, adolescents, and children aged 2 and older: Apply to affected area up to 3 times per day. For children (2-12 years): The product should be handled/applied by adults only. External use only. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes; if this happens, rinse thoroughly with vegetable oil (or water). Do not use on the face or near the nose or mouth or with other products containing camphor, menthol, eucalyptol and/or eucalyptus essential oil.

 

Cautions & Warnings:

Echinacea 2+ Kids: Consult a health care practitioner before use: if you have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, leukosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS and/or HIV infection; if you have an autoimmune disorder or you are taking immunosuppressants. Use with caution if you are allergic to cow milk products. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms worsen or persist.

Chest Rub: Avoid exposure of applied area(s) to the sun. If accidental ingestion occurs, seek urgent medical attention or contact a Poison Control Centre. Contraindications:

Echinacea f2+ Kids: Do not use: if you are pregnant; if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy or Apiaceae family.

Chest Rub: Do not use: if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; if you have broken, irritated, or sensitive skin.

 

Known Adverse Reactions:

Echinacea 2+ Kids: Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy to E. purpurea or anise) has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.

Chest Rub: Discontinue use if you experience nausea, dizziness, headache or an allergic reaction.
