DESCRIPTION

Vegetarian Strong Bones helps build and maintain a strong, healthy skeletal system with bone-building nutrients that help prevent the onset of osteoporosis.
Vegetarian Strong Bones features tricalcium phosphate in lieu of bovine-sourced microcrystalline hydroxyapatite, with a botanical form of glucosamine sulfate to replace the crustacean type in our regular and boron-free Strong Bones formulas. Our synergistic formula contains the complete roster of vitamins, minerals, and nutrients critical for building and maintaining the strong skeletal system you depend upon. Recommended daily dosage is 1000 mg of elemental calcium; however, what makes this formula complete are vitamins including D3 (cholecalciferol) that improve calcium absorption, and nutrients such as green tea extract that stimulate bone growth and mineralization while interfering with the activity of cells that break down bones (osteoclasts). Vegetarian Strong Bones is the ideal supplement for the maintenance of healthy bones which serve as the foundation for virtually every aspect of your health and vitality.

DIRECTIONS OF USE

Adults: Take 3 capsules one to three times daily with food or as directed by your health-care practitioner. If you are taking other medications, take this product a few hours before or after them. Duration of use: Consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 12 weeks.

WARNINGS

Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, eggs, dairy, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, or sugar. Cautions and warnings: Consult a health-care practitioner prior to use in the case of an estrogen-dependent cancer, or if you: are taking blood thinners; have gallstones or a bile duct obstruction; have stomach ulcers or excess stomach acid; are taking antiplatelet medication or any prescription medication; have been diagnosed for or are at risk for a blood pressure disorder; have a liver disorder; have an iron deficiency; or are following a low-protein diet. Discontinue use at least 2 weeks prior to surgery or dental procedures to prevent the risk of bleeding. Do not use if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Discontinue use and consult a health-care practitioner if you develop symptoms of liver trouble such as yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), stomach pain, dark urine, sweating, nausea, unusual tiredness, or loss of appetite. Rare, unpredictable cases of liver injury associated with green tea extract–containing products have been reported. Do not use if seal is broken. Keep out of reach of children.
