If nausea, dizziness, headache or allergic reactions occur, discontinue use. Do not use on inflamed skin or if suffering from dermatitis. Avoid exposing treated area to sunlight. History Dill is an annual plant with a smooth stem that can grow 80 to 150 cm tall. Its fresh or dried leaves are commonly used as a spice to season salads, fish, meats and sauces, and its seeds are used to spice liqueurs and jams. The essential oil is obtained by steam distilling its seeds.
