History Bergamot is the fruit of the bergamot orange tree, not to be confused with citrus bergamia, the trade name of a lemon citrus cultivar grown in Marrakech. Our bergamot grows in the Reggio region of Calabria in Italy on a narrow stretch of the Calabrian coast running the length of the Ionian and Tyrrhenian seas where it supports local industry.
