DESCRIPTION The product that started it all. When used on its own, Enhanced Effect™ is reported to be an excellent sleep aid. However, this proprietary blend of terpenes is most well-known for helping patients reduce tolerance to their "botanical medicine" in order to maximize its benefits. They can also use their medicine continuously, without the need to take "tolerance breaks"--which was previously the only way to reduce tolerance. A proper tolerance break lasts 2-4 weeks--that's a long time to go without medicine when you depend on it daily. In simple terms, tolerance is essentially an adaptation by the body that results in a reduction in the effects. It develops in all regular users, and can start to set in after only a few days of consecutive use. Within our bodies, tolerance develops through two physiological pathways. The first develops at the cellular level, where a couple things can happen: 1) down-regulation of CB1 receptors in the brain (body makes less receptors), and/or 2) uncoupling of the biological pathway (so even if compounds bind to CB1, the signal is not transmitted any further). These mechanisms are tightly controlled by the body and will require a tolerance break to "reset." The secondary pathway occurs at the organ level (absorption/elimination). This is where a product like Enhanced Effect™ can be of benefit. In this way, we can help regular users go longer periods of time before a needing tolerance break. SUGGESTED USE Cut/twist off tip of 1-2 gel packs and squeeze contents into a clean tissue, hold close to nose/mouth, and take slow deep breaths.
