Atrium Thyroid Support Complex, 60 Capsules

Thyroid Support Complex is a comprehensive formula containing vitamins, minerals and herbal extracts. It was specifically designed to support healthy thyroid gland function. Iodine is absorbed by the thyroid gland and supports the formation of triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4) hormones. l-Tyrosine is also a key component in the synthesis of thyroid hormones. Healthy selenium levels have been associated with maintaining healthy thyroid cell metabolism, as well as thyroid hormone function. Doubling as a powerful antioxidant, selenium combines with vitamin C and curcuminoids to neutralize free radicals, including those that affect iodothyronine 5’-monodeiodinase enzyme activity, the limiting factor in the conversion of T4 to the more active T3 hormone. Thyroid Support Complex also contains standardized extracts from forskohlii, guggul and ashwagandha, herbs with an extensive history of traditional use.

Each capsule contains 370 mcg RAE of Vitamin A (vitamin A acetate), 81 mg of Vitamin C (ascorbic acid, ascorbyl palmitate), 2.5 mcg (100 IU) of Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), 75 mcg of Iodine (potassium iodide), 10 mg of Zinc (zinc citrate), 100 mcg of Selenium (selenomethionine), 250 mg of L-Tyrosine, 200 mg of Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) root extract standardized to 2.5% withanolides, 50 mg of Forskohlii (Plectranthus barbatus) root extract standardized to 10% forskolin, 75 mg of Guggul (Commiphora wightii) gum resin extract standardized to 2.5% guggulsterones, and 47.5 mg of Curcuminoids (from Curcuma longa root); non-medicinal ingredients include a vegetarian capsule (hypromellose, water).

Adults: Take 2 capsules daily with a meal, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products. Consult a healthcare practitioner for use beyond 8 weeks.
